In today's world, it can honestly feel like you cannot be happy without something going wrong and completely ruining it all. I know exactly how that feels and I have gotten better about not letting the small things ruin my day, but it can get hard when it constantly happens. Lately, I try my best to see the positive in things that go wrong, yes it is difficult, but so worth it!
Here are some tips that I think will help those who want to be happy.
1. Remove those who bring you down from your life: What I am meaning by this if you have a friend who is always cutting you down, always negative or causes unneeded drama, remove them from your life. You do not need someone in your life who will just make you feel miserable.
2. Do something each day that makes you smile: We all have something that instantly will lift our moods when we do it.
3. Smile!: I have a teacher this semester that smiles all the time, and honestly it really brightens my day and makes me smile as well. So definitely take the time and just show those pretty teeth!
4. Get out and do something: We all have those days where we just want to sit at home all day and do nothing. Those days are nice, but if you are stuck at home all the time that can bring you down as well. Get out of the house and do something, whether it be shopping, movies, or just going for a walk.
