Here is the inside scoop of what I got in the November Ipsy.

Yep I totally just said that in the title. I am one of those people who do not love the holidays, in fact I despise them. Find me around September/October and you hear me growling it is more than likely because Christmas decorations are out before Halloween and Thanksgiving. Do not get me wrong when I was a kid all the way up until I was 16 or 17, I absolutely loved Christmas and holidays. Now I just absolutely hate it so much.
Most of the reason I hate holidays is because my family never gets together now. Holidays to me are spent with family, and friends while celebrating. Now most of the Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Years I am at home doing nothing while watching everyone post on social media about how they are out of town celebrating with their family. Just realize that if someone is withdrawn during the holidays, it might be because they do not have anyone to spend it with. Holidays can really bring down people, and they can settle into depression easily. It is supposed to be the most glorious time of year, when really it is the time I dread most. Please, if you are one of those people who love the holidays, take time to realize that not everyone loves them. Those who dislike the holidays do not need it rubbed in their face about it. It really is painful when all people do is cut you down, and make you feel horrible about not enjoying this time of year. Just do your best to get through the holiday season. Yes, I do love How the Grinch stole Christmas, mostly because he understands me. (Yes, I know the Grinch is fake). This past month has been very difficult in my household and it may or may not get easier. With everything going on, I had a few moments where I just stopped everything and let myself think. Since I did have those moments, that's where you just want life to stop and give you a break. Sadly, life just keeps going on and gives you the curve balls no matter what. Here are five things that I thought of during the past month and they are all things that I think each of you need to learn. 1. Be with your family: I know everyone says that, but it is true. You honestly never know when life will take away someone you love or care about. Whether that person is to pass away, move to another state, or sadly turn their back on you. Spend as much time as you can with your family. 2. Make sure you prepare for your future: Things happen where you lose your job, have to move away, or whatever, and in that case you will need money. Save up now, you are never to young to save money. Saving money will help you prepare for emergencies. 3. Take time out of your day to be alone: I know that maybe weird, but sometimes we all just need to go take a hot bath and just give yourself time alone. I know sometimes that may not be so simple so it does not have to be on hours on end, but five minutes can be enough. 4. Eat: Even though something tragic may have happen not all of us want to eat, or drink, but you are only harming yourself if you do not give yourself the proper nutrition that is needed. 5. Smile: That can be difficult in a time of hardship, but a smile will help you feel better. When I was going through a hard time I texted my friends and they kept me positive and smiling. Yes, that might be weird if something bad has happened, but it will help you from settling into a depressed state. This is the type of picture that everyone needs! Hope you all have a great weekend!
Can anyone else believe that we are already on the 11th day of November? I know, I cannot believe it! It seems like October just flew by and now it is Christmas (according to everyone on facebook and all of America). October is one of my favorites months just because it is a time for haunted houses. I did actually get to go to five different haunted houses this year. Which is only two more than last year, but that is okay!
What are my plans for November you ask? Honestly, I just need to get through the month. November started out pretty rocky with family emergencies and since it is toward the end of the semester, I have a lot of school projects that are coming up! I really hope to finish out this semester strong, but it is hard to do with everything going on. I have a ton of senior pictures to do this month and I am really excited about those!! Senior pictures are my absolute favorite to do since I get to help create pictures that will create a lifetime of memories.
