I knew I was possibly getting a new Voxbox from Influenster, but never thought it would be one purely about makeup! You guys all know that makeup is my weakness so this box was perfect for me! I have never received a box like this before especially one that contains Estee Lauder makeup!! I figured up the prices for this box and it was over $120 for all of it and I got it for free to test out the products. The products I have received in this box are for testing purposes and that is why I was sent these four items. I absolutely love all of these products, especially the Radiance Activator! If interested in getting free products to test, sign up for Influenster today!

We all run into someone who is a controller, they want to run everyone's lives and do not care who they hurt in the process. All of my life I let people run over me and tell me what I can and cannot do. Finally, I got tired of being treated like crap and decided I deserve better. No one should be treated like they are not worthy, called names or anything. If you are one of those people who do that, what makes you think it is okay to do that?
During grade school, I was always the shy one and I mean shy as not talking unless spoken to first, following people and not raising my hand in class. Once I got to high school I started to join clubs, and applying for officer positions to help me get more outspoken. By the end of high school I was involved with eleven different clubs and held several officer positions. In college I joined TRIO Student Support Services and that brought me out of my shyness even more. Yes, I am still a little shy but will speak first but then there are days where I just kinda hide. I never thought that I had a voice because whenever I would talk everyone would just ignore me or talk over me so I could not be heard. Now days I will not put up with it and have become more outspoken when I do not approve of the way I am being treated. After having friends call me names, treat me like I do not have an opinion, a father's girlfriend that called me every name in the book because I would not talk to a dad who was never there for me, and employees who are just plain rude, I got sick of it. No one should be treated badly, the way I feel if you treat others with kindness that is what you should be given back. If someone calls me a name I will simply call them out on it and tell them I do not deserve to be treated that way especially if I have not done anything wrong. I may not have as many friends now, but no one needs a friend that treats them like crap. My advice stand up for yourself if you lose someone, so what it will hurt, but in the end you will feel so much better about yourself. I do not have to put up with negativity, complaints about stupid stuff or anything now because I have decided that I deserve way better than that. After getting rid of the person, you will realize the difference. I once had a friend that literally complained about everything and this is one of the ones that would go behind your back and talk bad about you. After she was gone, I felt a weight lift off my shoulders. I never realized how much this person was weighing down on me until they were gone. A couple months ago a girl told me I was not allowed to talk to my guy friend anymore and completely split us apart and last month I ran into her and completely smiled at her and said thank you (she works at McDonalds.) Sometimes a harsh word will not solve anything it will just make it worse, still stand up for yourself. If you have a person who does this then let go of them, because in the end it will be better. You may have a lot of memories together or have known each other for years, but sometimes it is better to just let it all go. Do you have someone in your life like this? It does not have to be just a friend it can be a family member, coworker, or it can just be someone who works at a store you go to. Stand up for yourself, no do not cause a scene in the middle of Walmart but just simply talk to the person. If a cashier is slamming your things down just simply say hi, how is your day going? Sometimes someone being friendly and willing to listen can put them in a better mood. Back in late May or early June, I received another Influenster box. This box was kinda awesome, I am not going to lie. Here is what I received in the box!
In the 21st century pretty much everyone has a Facebook profile. If you do have a Facebook profile then I am sure you are part of some kind of group. For example there are numerous groups that range from television shows, photography groups, planner groups, basically if you think of it there is a group for it. I am part of over twenty different groups and that is a lot, especially when your newsfeed is filled with nothing but the groups.
Anyways, lets get to the real point of this post why exactly am I leaving my Facebook groups. I have noticed over the past year that the groups I am part of there is nothing but bullying, harsh words toward a Youtuber, photographer whoever it is and honestly I am tired of it. Just now I came across one in my planner group about a girl talking about how the Youtuber had to much makeup on. I am not one to judge let alone on a public site. If you are seeing people degrading other people either leave the group or report them. No one should get away with hurting others even if the person is a Youtuber. It maybe something small by reporting them, but if done enough then maybe that person will learn. It saddens me to leave these groups because it's how I keep up with different things going on, but I will not stick to a group that degrades people. Be the better person in a world where everything is hated on. A little late since it is March, but here is what I have received in the February Ipsy subscription.
We all have dreams that range from small to large ones. Those dreams can keep us moving forward in life, in hopes of accomplishing them. Throughout my life, I have dreams that I hope to do. I wanted to share with my readers, exactly what four of my dreams are. For each dream I will explain exactly why they are my dream.
1. Own a plantation house: Every since watching Gone with the Wind, I have wanted to live in a plantation house. No, not a haunted one. I am fascinated with historical sites and the history that is behind a place. 2. Move to Tennessee: If you have been following my blog for very long, you know that Tennessee is where I want to live. I am absolutely in love with the mountains. 3. Own 2 lifted trucks: Anyone who knows me very well, know that I love lifted trucks. The reason I want two is one for driving and the other for playing. 4. To have my dream dogs: Those dogs are: Rottweiler, Doberman, German Shepard, Husky and a Mini Pin. I absolutely love these dogs and hope to one day have them. Now it is your turn, what are your dreams? |
